Mink can carry coronavirus and transmit it to humans.  That's bad enough, but apparently, the virus mutated in mink and the mutated version, when transmitted to humans, may decreased antibody affinity (not specified if that is natural immunity or manufactured monocolonal antibody cocktails, but probably both).  So Denmark is culling its entire Mink population.
