Ken White, who goes by @popehat on Twitter, is a Stanford guy who has a first amendment legal practice and has a good podcast on freedom of speech (the Make no Law). X is like "yelling 'fire' in a theater" is a pet peeve of his, for good reason.

As much as I don't agree with Atlas' ideas, I haven't otherwise engaged in that thread because the premise that he ought to be fired from a position whose tenet is protecting academic freedom is ridiculous.
