The numbers are going crazy. I have followed the virus daily for several months.
By my index, a high number of cases for a state in one day was anything over 200.
We are getting several a day that are five times that.
142,000 plus cases and almost 1,500 deaths so far today, and it's only 5 15 Eastern.
I particularly see it wiping out Big Ten games.
Minnesota, relatively benign for months,
has turned horrible, near Wisconsin levels.
One of the Dakotas has the highest rate in the world.
Seems more likely than not that the Midwest teams will shut down some time in the next two weeks.
