I'm not that worked up (either way) about CFB - it certainly "helps" in that Stanford sucks again. BUT, in truth, I think the protocols could be loosened substantially to allow for more games to be played and there would be no noticeable increase in "risk" to the competitors (and some immeasurable amount of risk to program outsiders). If that were the case and fewer (or not) games were being canceled, would you be asking the same question?
Like the rest of this country, CFB is 'stumbling along.' Maybe they finish; maybe they don't. I'm not going to get too bent either way.
