The metrics in Oregon and Washington are really no better than California (in fact, they look a bit work).  This looks a lot like "Dad, mom won't let me go to the party with my friends, will you let me?"

The quest for a few $$$ looks rather pathetic.   Just a couple of COVID cases would likely terminate the rest of the season given the number of days left.
 
It will be very interesting to see if this is provided for football only ($$$) or if this is provided for all sports currently active (Title IX).
