George Yardley was drafted in 1950. Jim Pollard was drafted in 1947 by the Chicago Stags. The issue is that he was at Stanford in 1941-42, and then the Coast Guard until 1946. Still, I didn't ask who the first player to be drafted from Stanford was, just who the first Stanford player to be drafted.
