It might be wise to pump the breaks a bit after one game. It seems reasonable to assert the 20-21 version is the most physically impressive and best Stanford defensive team in a long time. Williams did have an impressive initial outing as a Frosh, and the scoring was evenly distributed as well.
But what happens if UNC makes Williams a focal point, he goes 0-7 from 3pt range and shots 3-11 overall? Does he have the moxie to get to the FT line 8 times and make at least 6? Will he cut down on his 6 turnovers?
Cal fans are usually the ones who are way over their skis predicting glory. Stanford fans are much more circumspect in my experience.
