P.S.  On alternate timeline, my #1 remains that Emeka Okafor resists BS pressure from Calhoun and signs with Stanford after Collins scholarship is formally available . . . and Stanford goes on to win 2 NCAA titles (the latter would have been a given had Okafor worn Cardinal uni).  That's my story, and I'm sticking with it!

I was wondering if or when that name was going to get dropped..... A little surprised we don't give it the same treatment that we now give to the word "Heiisman."

Time to avenge the the 2000 round of 32 tourney upset as a 1 seed to UNC.

While that was obviously a setback for our program, its personal effect is a lot more subdued because I learned about it secondhand.  I wasn't even yet a sports fan back then; I was a sophomore at Caltech, struggling through an organic synthesis lab.
