FYI, here’s the link for the COVID stats for King County, WA (Seattle area). A key stat that Washington is tracking is the total number of infections per 100,000 people in the trailing 14 day period. As of this morning, that number is 410. To give perspective, this number was hovering around 100 at the beginning of October. Also, the “Re” number is over 1.0, indicating that infections are increasing rather than decreasing.
Washington isn’t in shutdown...yet, but Inslee reimposed restrictions on restaurant and store capacity, and sports have restrictions. For instance, our kids have soccer teams that practice but can’t play in games/tournaments. Masks are required for practice now. I’m assuming Washington is heading into a shelter in place reset if the trends don’t improve.
