Quote:How much capacity does UCSF have for storing the Pfizer vaccines?
UCSF has enough freezer capacity for hundreds of thousands of doses. Each two-milliliter vial holds five doses of dry vaccine. For injection, it must be thawed, reconstituted and administered within 48 hours of that thaw. The Pfizer vaccine is stable for five days in the refrigerator and six hours at room temperature.
