Why jack up a three point attempt with a nearly full shot clock?  Why not try to work a play?

Are you talking about the wide open corner 3's by Brink?  You typically work an offense to find a look like that, or an easy layup.

No, not Brink.  This was my thought before Brink attempted a three pointer and I was only referencing attempts with a "nearly full shot clock". Maybe you can get a higher percentage shot when threes are not falling.
