Australia never had anything like the number of cases we had here (in either wave) and was able to stamp out the virus in their country almost (but not absolutely) totally. That makes operating the country in an "normal" situation reasonable. Their challenge is to keep the virus out. It still isn't easy to travel in or out of the country. Take a look at
