The B1G will amend their rules or find tOSU an opponent, even if it means stealing one from another BigTen program. Take that to the bank.
The only B1G team with a chance at the CFP is tOSU. If tOSU is not in the BigTen CG, then the CFP will likely find its way to giving two invites to the ACC (Clemson/ND) and two invites to the SEC (Alabama/TBD).
Every conference is doing this COVID19 stuff for money, so to take actions that forces tOSU out of the CFP is not an option. To move away and then let a rival conference take tOSU's slot would be unthinkable.
Of course, tOSU needs to actually win 1 or 2 more games, so it is possible tOSU will get eliminated on the field.
