 WE were downright awful in third down conversions in our first two games (like, historically awful).  Did something change, or were the first two games really unlucky, and the fourth game lucky?

Game #1, QB out (last minute)   4-13, 31%
Game #2, QB in but no prep       5-16, 31%
Game #3, QB week+game prep  8-17, 47%
Game #4, QB 2 weeks+2 games 10-13, 77%

In the UW game ...
Of the 10 conversions, 8 pass, 2 run.
The non-conversions were 2 pass, 1 run.
The runs were x2 for TDs, and second last play of the game.
Outside of the two notable plays on the last drive, every third down with more than 3 yds to go had an incomplete pass on first or second down.
Mills was 8-10, 133 yards on third down.
