So it seems Newsom isn't the one to be scrutinized here. It is whoever is running the businesses he has a stake in. Moreover, I don't think the current administration would have allowed that money to go to those companies in question if it knew Newsom had stakes in them. Its pettiness is unmatched in my lifetime, so I believe the limb I am walking out on here is pretty sturdy.
