Pettigrew still has the hardest hit I've ever seen and I've filmed over 700 games. An absolute stud who suffered a season ending injury early in his senior year. Pattitucci played two ways just before the NCAA liberalized the substitution rules. John Read was shifted after his sophomore season from FB to LB. Somebody on this board has great knowledge of the move. Blaine Nye and George Buehler changed positions and I think Gerin Veris played a bit of TE. All three had good NFL careers. Pat Donovan went from an All America DE to a starting OT for Dallas. Greg Sampson was a first round pick as a DT and ended up an OT for the Oilers.

Just saying that with the catastrophe in the LB corps perhaps they should consider some position moves in the spring.
