Is it really a given that ZW is going to leave for the NBA after this season? He's averaging 10.2 pts and 27.4 minutes per game. His 2-point and 3-point percentages are 34.5 and 25, respectively. He rarely gets to the foul line and averages 2.8 turnovers per game. Wouldn't NBA front office personnel need to see improvement on the college court before drafting him?

I am starting to ask the same question.   Watching other "top" freshman at other schools playing like obvious first rounders, I have been wondering if ZW will develop quickly or if he might not be a 1st rounder after this year?

This is a topic on my mind too. We know that NBA teams draft based on potential much more so than current abilities. But, ZW does look like someone who may take a few years before becoming a productive pro. For the reasons outlined here and his skinny frame. I would have to assume that if he comes out he'd at least sneak into the first round. But, might find himself in the D league for a couple years while his body matures. If the scouts tell him the same, he'd be very smart to stay at Stanford for at least another season.
