Lex my spouse was in on the beginning producing a cooking show with a horrible host (no name, but she was a pig).

The Network was a brainchild of Reece Schoenfeld, a Movietone News whiz kid I met through my father who was the SF Fox Movietone bureau chief. Reece also basically created CNN although Turner takes all the credit. He also created People Magazine on TV and I shot a bunch of stories for the show.

Interesting. I have my guess on the host.  After 9/11, I watched a lot of cooking shows. Food is comfort. I love to eat.  And I enjoy cooking.  I just wish I could cook as well as I can eat!
