fwiw, Alabama has 8 FR or SO in the offensive 2-deep, including 3 SO starters. on defense, Alabama has 11 FR or SO in the 2-deep including 5 FR/SO starters. Alabama plays (and develops) young talent rather than deferring to seniority. I wish Shaw would do more of that (or both).
Slide, please. Don't compare Stanford to Alabama on this board. Trust me from experience, the masses don't want to hear it.
Well, Card, two things may be equally true: Shaw needs to rely more on and develop underclassman faster (and end the scholarship misuse Slide mentions); and comparing Alabama to Stanford is folly. Bama has the No 1 recruiting class every year. It’s a football factory. I mean, Waddle is the best receiver in the country. He gets hurt. And so now their no 2 receiver is probably going to win the Hiseman.
Damn, where's that sarcasm emoji when I need it.
And to your point. Why does Alabama have the best recruiting class in the country? Perhaps because they do a great job of recruiting, they really work at it . . . .Oh crap, I'm going against my own advice. . . .
Free Phogge!!!! And no, crimson doesn't refer to the Tide.
