We end up winning 68-60 in a much closer margin of victory and game than I had expected and hoped for after starting off the game so well. We shot well collectively at around 50%, but atrociously from long range at only 4/19 (21%). Also, ASU snagged 13 offensive rebounds and we turned the ball over 17 times. The foul disparity was atrocious (20 to 12 and 5 of ASU's fouls came late when they were trying to extended the game) and 23 FT opportunities to just 8 for us.
We missed Brink's ability to shot block as ASU drove to the basket to get some easy layups during their runs.
Belibi was the star contributor on the offense scoring 23 pts (10/14 shooting) and grabbing 12 rebounds. Kiana was the only double digit scoring with 16 (she was on from inside the arc at 6/10, but frigid cold at 1/9 from downtown). Haley only took 5 shots all game long, as she picked up early fouls and had to sit for most of the first half and play more cautiously down the stretch. Lexie was 2/11, Prechtel was 3/4 in her limited time.
This game really shows that we cannot rest on our laurels; ASU is a scrappy team and we did not put them away as we should have.
