I understand that. I (respectfully) disagree. I took issue with another poster for noting that this is a tiresome debate. While I agree with that poster on the assessment, I noted that my response was just that, a response to someone else's criticism (yours) of the Santa Clara County Health authority.
Obviously, decisions by Santa Clara county affect our teams, so I don't think they are out of bounds for discussion here. But, given that there has not been any change in the directive and the bounds, it's not going to be changed any time soon, and the parameters of the pro/con debate have been well worn, I am committed not to bring up that it was probably a wise decision every time we break a new record of cases, hospitalizations or deaths, or every time an article showing just how bad the situation is (particularly, right now, in Los Angeles) as long as those who disagree with the directive don't bring it up every time one of our teams has a hardship brought on by the directive.
