I'd have one network channel for old fashioned sattelite and cable and then a website that can have as little or as much streaming content as is available.  Thus, there could be one live stream available (at odd hours or in the summer when it is out of season) plus whatever saved content people wish to stream, but when there are a lot of athletic events happening simultaneously, you aren't limited to seven live streams.

The days of a "channels" where what content you can present to consumers is limited, is over.
