To what extent will the NCAA committee take into account NET rankings? We are #2 in NET rankings through 2/8/21. Creme's four #1 seeds have NET rankings of 1 (UConn), 3 (SCar), 5 (Louisville), and 10 (NC State).
Yesterday during the UConn-SCar game, Fox showed its projections for the four #1 seeds. We were the second #1 seed listed (aka second overall?). The other three #1 seeds were NC State, UConn, and Scar.
With the whole tournament sited in San Antonio, #1 v #2 seed is less important. In years past, being the #2 to, say, SCar's #1 would mean playing them in their home territory, or someplace near there. This year, we would play them in a substantially neutral site, with no fans. #1 v. #2 mostly means who gets to wear the white uniforms.
