One of the greatest Stanford tennis players ever. NCAA team, singles (2X), and doubles champion. Turned pro after her junior year (no more NCAA titles left to win!), 7-year successful pro career. Has been spending this academic year finishing her Stanford degree and has applied to law schools for the fall.
Enjoyed watching her in many terrific matches, great touch on the ball, renowned for her "fight" on court. In one of the most unusual matches I've ever seen, in the 2013 NCAA team championship final, at #1 singles against the nationally 4th ranked player, she lost the first 8 games of the match. Down 0-6, 0-2, she won the next 12 games in a row to win the match and contribute a vital point to what was ultimately a 4-3 victory.
