Chronicle posted a couple of stories yesterday that basically say, “Whoa, we are close but keep focused.” One UCSF doc lists a 45% chance for a surge, another 100%. The surge to be milder next time but definitely caused by premature openings at a time where the prevalent strain is 50% more contagious.

Of course a huuuge number of Americans have the Very Impatient Gene.
