Exactly! If a division between some players and the coaches exists, it may be in our best interest to not play another game this year.
The coaches, of course, will want to have more time to practice and develop players by participating in the NIT. However, if some players just go through the motions, and we end up with very poor results, look bad doing them, and have every announcer and commentator report about the evident lack of chemistry and perceived tension, it will harm the program and hurt recruiting.
