If Stanford gets a bid, Coach Haase said that he would welcome it. I don't think he would say that if he feels that he has lost the locker room. Or maybe he's in denial.


I'm still on the fence as to whether or not the NIT would be a good thing for Stanford given the current state of the program.

I think it is mostly "coachspeak". If he says he doesn't want the bid, he is admitting he and his team are in total disarray. He is not going to do that even if they are. He is probably hoping that he won't have to deal with that eventuality. He probably won't have to, I expect.
