I am sorry if that was confusing, Oregon is in our region, but on the other half, so they would have to get #3 Georgia and #2 Louisville.
We would need either #13 Wright State or #5 Missouri State (presuming they beat #12 UC-Davis first) to beat Arkansas if we don't want to face them.
Arkansas is a lot like Maryland, they are a high octane offense (4 of their starters shooting at least 36% from 3-point range) and they shoot a lot of 3's (averaging 25 3-point attempts a game). We will need our perimeter defense to be on par if we face them.
However, their defense is subpar, giving up 74 points a game and 44% from the field.
First off, with all due respect to Utah Valley and I am sure we will do our due diligence against them, I am sure Tara is already watching videos of Natasha Mack. She's 6'4" and their leading scorer, so Brink will have an early test on defending without fouling.
