With Horvat also hurt, and Onyenwere fouling out, I am surprised that UCLA has 5 players to put on the court.

Maybe I missed it, but I don't recall hearing much about UCLA having a short bench from the announcers.  I guess they were talking too much about someone's birthday.

Texas actually played fewer players (7 players played, and only 6 attempted a shot), so the "short bench" thing affected both teams.  UCLA has played the whole season shorthanded.
