The spot was saved for Anna Wilson... when Estella decided to also transfer, D had already made the decision to transfer and did not change her mind to stay.. I heard or read an interview.. then when the Black Lives Matter movement was at the forefront she tweeted that she was disappointed (can’t remember the exact words) that her alma matter (Stanford) didn’t post.. when I responded to her tweet to say actually Kate just tweeted about it, she responded that the coach had everyone’s number and could have text them, and she didn’t.. I was very kind in my response and said that I’m a brobdingnagian fan of the program and wish she didn’t feel like that.. well she blocked me... I find it hypocritical that she chose a school that wants people to hide their sexuality (Brittney Griner) but is insinuating that Stanford didn’t speak up against racism.

I got the impression that there might have been tension, although if we did not offer her another year that could well have been the cause of the tension rather than the other way around. And when D left she advertised the fact that she already had two Stanford degrees and felt it was time to move on (it was actually a double-major.) Whether that is a rationalization or not we can't know. But I am not completely sure the issue was a lack of a scholarship offer--she would have to have been admitted to an MA program, etc.
So will Dijonai play for Baylor next year too? COVID could make that possible, right? Will she play professionally?
