Nobody on this board disputes that it was a foul; it clearly was!  But given a choice between righteous indignation over a foul not called or trying something else that doesn't rely on the ref calling a foul that could decide the game, you have to know not to put the game in the hands of the ref!

The refs were letting things go all game long!  Why should the last play have been any different?

Another way to look at it is that the offensive player need not worry much about initiating contact. They aren't going to call that either. Go up and IN real strong and don't worry about getting a charging call. Make sure the ball goes down if you have to destroy the defenders to do it.

Unless you're playing Yukon... They will get the benefit of any doubt (questionable call).
