I feel bad for Ziaire. He's among the very, very few Stanford alums to never take an in-person class on The Farm.

I can't help but wonder if in his heart-of-hearts he'd have rather played his year at a school like North Carolina that had a lot of sick kids but also in-person classes.

I am heartened to hear him say of his teammates that they "all had nothing but unconditional love and support for me," and that they feel like brothers to him. That line also gives me hope that the team chemistry can recover relatively quickly.
