With 3 minutes remaining in the game, Stanford had only 1 turnover in the 2nd half. They had done so well to avoid the careless errors that have frustrated us fans all season. Then Haley traveled in the backcourt completely unforced. Lexie went behind her back and lost control of the ball for another TO. And finally Cameron lost the ball when all she had to do was hold onto it because Stanford had the possession arrow.

Still they persisted. Survive and advance.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought that travel on Haley Jones was questionable:

I think that was a nod by Tara to Boston's foot shuffling at the high post. Practically every time she caught the ball at the high post she travelled. One time she took 3 steps after catching it. It's those non-call travels that have crept into the game where they allow players to change their pivot foot, shuffle, take extra small steps. Drives me nuts because it's so hard to stay consistent. Haley took an extra step where she didn't gain any offensive advantage, so I think that's why Tara was calling it weird. It was clearly a travel on replay, but so were many others.
