As Dave Esqueur stated in the in-game interview, the ceiling of this team will be determined by how quickly the freshmen pitchers improve and how well the coaches can re-integrate Williams and Palisch into the staff.

Good news is both Palisch and Williams had appearances today; Palisch his first, Williams his second on the season.
Palisch pitched a strong inning in the seventh.
Williams finished the disastrous fifth, had trouble finding the strike zone.

Frustrated they didn't send Brueser home on Robinson's double in the ninth.

Unfortunately, Bru missed third base rounding the bag.

This was a brutal loss; a giveaway for sure. The team will learn from this setback.
