Holding a team to 24 points in a half is excellent defense.  McDonald is 2/11.  No problems there.

But we have 10 turnovers to their 3.  If it were not for that, this would be approaching a blowout.  That is, of course, Arizona's strategy--close defense leading to offense.

So we need to wear them down in the second half so their defensive intensity begins to slacken off just a bit.  And we need to stop making risky interior passes.  I think we CAN cut down on turnovers--we have in many games this season taken care of the ball much better in the second half than in the first.

Of course the same goes for us--can we keep up the defensive intensity on McDonald as fouls mount up?  I imagine she will get better on offense as the game goes along.  We probably won't hold her to two baskets in the second half.  So our offense needs to get into higher gear.

Cam in the low post can score almost any time.  Let's get the ball to her, and let's not put her in a position to pick up fouls defending McDonald.
