I was surprised that they basically told McDonald to try to beat Stanford by herself.  There were no screens, no penetration, no nothing.  It was just dribble a bit and throw the ball up and hope you win.

You can't blame Barnes when she put together one of the best game plans against Stanford this season.  But still, that was not an especially well designed play.

They tried to set a screen for the inbounds pass.  Our D spoiled it.
Barnes acknowledged after the game it was "Going to be Aari or nothing"
