On the topic of how some students view sports, my son was not a sports person. I can't recall whether I posted this story previously on Cardboard or not. My son was a Teaching Assistant for a class with Andrew Luck in it. At the time all students were required to sign the top of their tests. My son was correcting tests and some guy offered him a sum of money for Luck's test (with Luck's signature).
My son thought it was strange. When he told me about it, he had no idea who Andrew Luck was. I know that's impossible to believe. Football wasn't his thing and he never paid any attention to it.
