I also wanted to be present when Stanford won a national championship in some sport. I finally crossed it off the bucket list at Avaya Stadium watching the women's soccer team beat North Carolina for the title.

I believe I am at eight including four in the 1996-1997 academic year.   Loads of fun to watch a team get that decisive last point, PK or have the clock hit 0:00.
I have watched a couple of CG loses too, that's not as much fun but still a great experience.

I seriously thought about going to San Antonio, but I opted against travelling through the COVID-19 protocols.   I am not sure I would have been able to handle the stress of that Final Four.   It was hard enough to watch on TV.
