I've lost track of how many hours of top 7 NFL Draft QB prospect coaching video I have seen over the last month.
The thing I notice about watching NFL and College football coaching videos is that the distinction between NFL and College schemes is not as great as some would lead you to believe. The game is not that different, really.
The defenses and concepts to beat them are pretty darn similar. What you tend to have is more better athletes in the NFL with more time to study the game to more quickly recognize what is going on. Games are won and lost by fractions of second reactions.
After watching all of them, I think Justin Fields has the highest upside and is the best pure football player of them all. Davis Mills has all the ability to be an elite NFL QB. He - like all of the prospects - needs to be more consistent. I do believe if he came back for another year at Stanford he could have positioned himself to be the #1 overall pick in 2022.
