Read up on Williams. Not a hero.

May I ask the point of your post? Are you saying he deserved to be paralyzed and die at age 24 because he was a big guy and had committed crimes? This feels like George Floyd deserved what he got because he had drugs in his system and resisted arrest and may have passed a bad $20.

That may not be your intent so I'll stop here and give you a chance to explain.

It is hard to read intent in a pithy post on a message board.  I completely agree with you that any suggestion that he "deserved" his fate is awful, but also there is a natural tendency to lionize those who are tragically taken, and those people don't always have a heroic life.  It is perfectly reasonable to note that Williams had a troubled life.  His troubled life doesn't make his death deserved, but the inverse is also true; his tragic death doesn't absolve him of what he did during his life.
