Gibson. Koufax. Marichal.
Which major leaguer was toughest to strike out? He struck out just 113 times in his career, and only struck out twice in a game one time in his entire career. Yes, a Hall of Famer.
Who's the only major leaguer to lead the league in home runs seven years in a row?
Where is the world's largest publicly-viewable collection of baseball cards?
From the very early, formative days of baseball...what was "patching"?
In 1919, Babe Ruth hit 29 home runs, a new record in the last year of the dead ball era. He also added a new innovation to the game. What was that innovation?
We know that Cal Hubbard is the only man elected to both the football and baseball Halls of Fame. What did he do in baseball that was so unique?
Sandy Koufax, Elston Howard and Jim Brown have two things in common. What are they?
In 1947, the major league minimum salary was $5,000. What was it in 1965?
Who was the first baseball team to wear pinstripes? (It wasn't the Yankees)
What is today a ground rule double was a home run in the American league until 1930 and in the National League until 1931. How many of Babe Ruth's home runs fit that description?
On August 4, 1982, Joel Youngblood was traded from the Mets to the Expos. He played for the Mets against the Cubs during an afternoon game, flew to Philadelphia to play for the Expos against the Phillies, but he wasn't the first major league player to play for two teams on the same day. The Cubs and Cardinals traded Max Flack for Cliff Heathcote between games of a doubleheader on May 30, 1922 and both players played in both games. But Youngblood was unique in one other way. What unique record did he get on that day? You'll see if you check out the Cub v Mets and Phi v Expo box scores.

Ozzie Smith. 9,396 career at bats, 28 home runs, 0 grand slams.
Good one. Along those lines, which Hall of Fame pitcher pitched the most innings and gave up 0 grand slams?
Jim Palmer (and he has never let anyone forget about his accomplishment)...

I believe that Ralph Kiner led the NL in HR’s seven consecutive years.
Wasn’t Ruth responsible for the Yankees putting numbers on uniforms.
Not sure if this is the answer you are looking for but Cal Hubbard was an umpire.
