While I am sure that Mills would have preferred to be drafted by another franchise, frankly I believe that he got about all he could expect in terms of position in the draft. Does this mean I don't think he was better than some of the QBs picked in front of him? No, he undoubtedly is better. However, he was often injured and has not started many games at the college level. There are plenty of reasons for caution. However, 3rd round is not chopped liver. It is now up to him to make believers out of at least his coach and teammates.

IIRC the Niners took some Domer QB in the 3rd round years ago. Whatever became of that guy anyway?
