I’m so glad Watson isn’t announcing wbb anymore at least not Stanford but he is the world’s worst announcer.

I absolutely disagree. 

Clearly there are much worse announcers, for instance the one who announced some of the WWP games this year despite not knowing the sport. (Maybe he's ok on sports he knows, but I find his style objectionable whatever the sport.)

Knowledge of a sport doesn't make you a good announcer.
I think there are a lot of people here who would suggest Bill Walton is worse.
I've complained about the announcing style of a former swimming gold medalist.

I ran across Jim Watson announcing PAC-12 gymnastics during the year and realized I kinda missed his more gentle coverage.  His tone of voice is less objectionable to me that some of the current WBB announcers.

Too many of our announcers seem to think everything they believe is absolutely right. My recollection is that Jim Watson doesn't fall into that trap.
