Oregon is going to sweep Cal, with they way that game looked yesterday. Cal may be overmatched. Would have helped if Oregon was ending the season against OSU!!!!
Stanford cannot get a share of the league title, which has been true since last Sunday evening. UA has finished their conference season at 21-9, and the best Stanford can possibly get to is 18-9.
If Oregon sweeps cal, then they share the league title but Arizona gets the automatic bid based on winning the head to head series.
This morning, Stanford has risen to #11 in the RPI, with poll rankings from 9 to 12. They should be in good shape to host a regional, with an outside chance at a top 8 seed. Rooting interests: Stanford wins, losses for Notre Dame, Mississippi State, Tennessee, TCU, Texas Tech.
So today (Friday):
TCU beat Texas Tech 7-2.
Texas Tech lost again to Kansas State 2-7.
Notre Dame lost to UVa 1-16.
Tennessee beat Alabama 11-0.
Mississippi State has been knocked out of the SEC tournament, went 0-2.
