This team found ways to win in spite of the fact that they ranked 5th in conference games in batting average, 8th in on-base percentage and 6th in slugging percentage. Pitching-wise, we were 7th in Ks/9 and 5th in ERA. In spite of yesterday's performance we did finish 2nd in fielding percentage.
Brendan Beck is a superstar, but we'll go as far as our #2 and #3 starters take us. Grech as #2 and Williams as #3, maybe? Dixon as the closer, and Palisch and O'Rourke first out of the bullpen?
Totally agree!!!! The job that Esquer has done with this team after last years start, thumbs up! I am sure no one on that coaching staff had an idea how this was going to turn out with all the restrictions and protocols at the start of the year.
