Maybe being visitor hasn't been so bad.  The half-inning earlier batting may have contributed for the hitting.  That first half of the first inning was big.

But tonight's game is all about what pitcher can avoid being hit (or, for Stanford pitchers, avoid hitting the batters).
(I thought both coaches took a pitcher out while he still was pitching OK. That must be my lack of understanding of what  is going on.)

I was at that game last night, and not sure what they were saying on TV but they were leaning into those pitches!
