You most certainly can get used to 105 in the sun. In today's world, almost nobody in the USA does because they stay inside air conditioned spaces most of the time and if necessary scamper between them. However, those who can't do so and work outdoors do absolutely get used to it. You know how to stay hydrated adequately and you don't really feel the heat. That makes doing whatever you are out there doing lots easier than it is for people who really notice the heat.

Well, that’s good to know. So it won’t be a problem?  Or are only Texas Tech players able to adjust?  BTW, in my younger years, I worked outdoors in Texas Summers . Back then, you could drink all you wanted to and you wouldn’t really adjust to 105. 100, even 101 , yes, but not 105.  Maybe it was all in the head but no on got used to it. 



It will make a difference to the players on both teams. It will be a physical as well as mental issue and since  everyone  will be talking about it, the “in the head” issues will be there. I dont think it will determine who wins, though . I certainly hope not.

I expect the heat will not determine who wins or really affect it much. Tech players don't regularly spend 8 hours out in the sun. They aren't "acclimated" to it because they don't have to be. Lots of air conditioned places (like essentially everywhere, including your car). Baseball doesn't require high level continuous physical activity either. It requires bursts followed by idle periods. The pitchers are the ones most likely to be affected. The heat will be noticed by all but TT will not have a big advantage.
