What a wild super regional for NC State. Lose 21-2 before rattling off a couple of one-run wins. The tv folks said no one's ever won a super regional after dropping one of the games by 19 runs, and that seems so obviously true that I'm not going to bother researching it myself.

As for how it affects Stanford, I suppose it's nice not to have to play the consensus top team in the country right out of the gate, but NC State is clearly a team that can shut down big lineups, so that's why they play the games, I suppose. Here's hoping we can start out in the winner's bracket!
