I wish the brackets showed the dates/times for the other games, as I want to get a sense of how much we can just ride Beck and Williams in the postseason. But on the ticket site, at least, they show the games and times, if not clarifying the potential matchup. But here's what it looks like:

Saturday, June 19
Game 1: 11am PT: Stanford (Beck) vs. N.C. State
Game 2: 4pm PT: Arizona vs. Vanderbilt

Monday, June 21
Game 5: 11am PT: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2
Game 6: 4pm PT: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2

Wednesday, June 23
Game 9: 4pm PT: Winner Game 5 vs. Loser Game 6

Friday, June 25
Game 11: 11am PT: Winner Game 6 vs. Winner Game 9

(The "if necessary" game in case the Winner of Game 6 loses Game 11 isn't on the schedule, but presumably that would be on the 26th, since the CWS Finals start June 28. Meanwhile, the other bracket's games are June 20, 22, 24, and 25.)

So, assuming we go with Beck on the 19th and Williams on the 21st, how much we'll need other starters obviously depends on staying in the winner's bracket. If we win the first two games, it would be Beck on the 19th, Williams on the 21st, and then Beck again on the 25th, with Williams available for the "if necessary" game. Pretty ideal. But if we lose one of the first two, we're playing on the 23rd, so that would be either Beck on 4 days' rest or a third starter, with either Beck on 6 days' rest for the game on the 25th or Williams on 4 days' rest. (I don't have a sense of how stretched out guys are and how willing we'd be to have a guy go on short rest--I don't follow the regular season all that closely. So I'll defer to you all on what we'd do in that situation.)

In the regional, we went with Williams on Friday (104 pitches in 7), Beck on Saturday (116 in 7), and then we cobbled together bullpen games on Sunday and Monday. One of those bullpen games in an elimination game seems... suboptimal. 

Anyway, the schedule is clear enough: win and we can keep riding Beck and Williams. Lose and you're gonna have to figure something else out.
