Haha, me too!  I was 6 months old at the time, though (we lived in Toronto, where I was born).

If you like field events, and I really do, TV has been pretty frustrating over the years, but with streaming, it's getting better. Our main emphasis has always been Track and Field, and since 1996, we've been to every women's basketball gave the US has played in. We've always gone for the entire time of the game. Only been to one winter (Vancouver), but for summer Olympics, Montreal was the 1st for us, then missed Moscow for obvious reasons, and been to every one after that. But we never did have plans for Japan, so will be seeing that the way we planned to all along, via TV, though a year late.
